Dear Collegues,

Shall Company need to file MR 1 for the appointment of KMP who are already acting as CFO/CS/WHD?

In my opinion, the Board Resolution for designating CFO/CS/WTD as KMP under new Act would be sufficient compliance. Thus MR 1 will be applicable only in case of appointment of CFO/CS/WHD with effect from 1st April 2014.

Please express your expert opinion. Thanks in advance.

You are right Atul....no MR 1 required..only BR is sufficient for existing KMP..... However, is the MCA portal showing the name of the CFO in the signatories details.....in case for CFo, the same will be required.......this is my view......
