I went for an interview in a firm for articleship where I was told that i can join the firm but my registration would be done under a partner of a firm whose working location is not that of my city. However, i was told that i could work in the firm's branch office which was located in my city and the partner of that office could be my member incharge of training.
So i am not sure what to do now. Should i join the firm? Is there any pre conditions for a partner to become mit because the partner who can become my mit has only 2 years of practice experience as he is a newly qualified chartered accountant.
