very much on cards now given that Election Commission has announced that elections will start in April and continue in May.

There is no confirmation, only speculative guesses being made out. kindly wait for ICAI notification. In case you are appearing for the next attempt, prepare for May and hopefully ICAI will give you an additional month.
election results will be announced by may 16th so exmas wil start from may 17th
selvaraj...have u got the general elections time-table?? the 16 may you are referring to is 2009 election result date...and even in that year CA exams were held in June 2009.
dont fight guys you should do hard work for exam irrespective of when will the exam conduct.
What imam says is right.
Exam will be in June I guess cause when I answered my PE I in May 2004 exam was postponed by 13 days and when I answered my Final exams in 2009 they were held in June.
