May 13 is a significant attempt. The last attempt before things like Ind AS and maybe Companies Bill, DTC and other imminent headaches are unleashed upon us poor students. Here's wishing that all attemptees pass this time itself!

my doubt is

IS New companies bill 2012 applicable for may 2013 exams and i think ICAI has not come up with any notification regarding this applicability yet.

And as per my knowledge  the amendments  released before 6 months to exams only will be applicable and suggest me in this regard.

Companies Bill 2012 has only been passed in Lok Sabha, it will have to be passed now in Rajya Sabha. Later it will go to the president for his assent and then notified in the official gazette. Therefore, in all likelihood the Companies Bill 2012 will not be applicable for May 2013 Examination.

Just to be on safer side, it is advisable to know the broad areas or important changes that the present bill contains, before it becomes an Act.
