Title  March 2018 GSTR3B SETOFF Issue

This is reference to March 2018 GSTR-3B which we have filed on 20April2018. Also ARN is generated.

We are surprise to see that the Electronic Credit Ledger and Electronic Cash Ledger is not updated even after Posting Credit to Ledger and successful set off. i.e. 6.1 Payment of tax is showing zero amounts.

Please note, we have sufficient balances in our both Credit Ledger and Cash Ledger.

At the time of filing, Tax Paid through ITC was automatically populated, which was calculated correctly by the portal. Also RCM and Interest paid by cash was appearing correctly.  Even on moving mouse cursor over Paid through ITC columns, the balance was also showing correct.

But, after Posting Credit to Ledger and successful set off message, the Electronic Credit Ledger and Electronic Cash Ledger did not get updated.

We contacted GST Helpdesk No 0120 4888999, but could not get suitable reply.  Also we registered the complaint Ticket, but they closed the complaint without resolving. When discussed over phone, they said as status is showiing FILED, they cannot do anything. We also emailed them all details for set-off, but not reply.

How can we file Revise March 2018 GSTR 3B or update column 6.1 Payment of tax details? Will the system automatically update it later.

Important Note:

In DRAFT Preview PDF file Total Tax Payable is showing actual amounts (before set-off), but in FINAL Preview PDF file, Total Tax Payable is showing  zero amount (after set-off).

Your advise will be highly appreciated.

Thanks & Regards,

You refresh and try after sometime because site is too slow.
We have filed March 2018 return on 20/04/2018. Return status is showing FILED. But set off not executed by the system. The credit and cash balance is still showing balance as on February 2018.
The Gst portal has lot network load. So it will be rectified after sometime. Anyway kindly wait for 2 days.
