accounts exam may 2015...smiley i hav cleared guys...though its jus grp 1 of ca ipcc..i feel very relaxed bcoz its my 6th attempt...every tym i write ,analyse and feel i will clear in this attempt...i have actually lost it many times with a narrow margin in achieving aggregate or so..i have written both groups n even tried writing single group alone..nthng worked earlier...cried ,devasted,frustrated,depressed...what not...every negativity took over me...ok..enough of my failure story.. i jus wanted to ask about gud firms which take me for articles in chennai or banglore aftr my result i.e, 1st grp n 6 attempts.... any chance of getting into big 4 if i have a reference???n what should be my preparation for joining articleship anywhere?? and by when should i join???or which one is gud for me -to join in big firms or mid sized firms for my final coaching and all other stuff???? so may questions in one post bt pleeeeaaaaaseeee help me out....

Attempts doesn't really maters as long as you are knowledgeable and you can tackle. And choice between Big 4 or medium sized firm depende on your interest whether in only one department or various departments.
You can be more specific about your interest, so that better suggestion can be given. Regards

Priyanka.. ur spirit is wow!! I too cleared ipcc first group in five attempts and was in same situation as yours. If you have failed and learnt from it in ipcc your passing chances increase in finals. And I would suggest go for a mediocre firm as you would need leaves for second group and final classes and secondly mediocre firms provide a wider area for work. Big 4s restrict you to one area for 3 years. All the best. Nothing is impossible. If big 4 is your dream, go for it, you will be selected.
