I lost my laptop last week,which contains my all id's & passwords, in such accident i also lost my PASSWORD at income tax website & mail password which was given in income tax id, please help me in getting again or creating new password on income tax website.ITS URGENT.........

Change your password at income tax website with the help of previous E-Filing Acknowledgement number. (Options available from AY 2007-08 to AY 2011-12)
To reset the password, click on the forget password link from the login page. In the password reset page, enter either of the following data :
Enter your secret question and answer which you entered during registration
(OR)
Enter the assessment-year and acknowledgement number of any of the e-returns filed by you since assessment year 2007-08.
Then enter the new password twice and then the text from the image below. Click on Reset Password to reset the password of your user.
You can make a new one by giving your last acknowledgement number.
If nothing of above works, then you can email your,
Name, PAN, Address, Date of birth to ask @ incometaxindia.gov.in and give a call on this phone no. 01242438000 and ask them to reset your password by giving them your PAN. The above contact no. is of ASK i.e., Aaykar Sampark Kendra.
