i have lost around 10 lakhs in equity stock market. i will show this loss in STCG when filing returns this year. after April-19 this year if i get any profit can i adjust the profit against the loss i incurred in FY18-19 ?

If your loss was as a result of speculation in prices of equity shares then that loss can be adjusted only with similar speculation income. if the loss was from short term investment in shares then they can be adjusted only with capital gain and not any other income.
profit from sale of house can that be adjusted against loss in speculation of equity trades ?
loss from speculation cannot be set off against any income other than speculation income
