Please advice which section deals with loan from subsidiary to Holding co. Whether it is possible, if yes then how.

yes it is possible ! referred section 372A of the Companies Act 1956

Can subsidiary give loan to its holding is it exempt u/s 372A.

paid up capital and free reserves as on last March 31, 2008

Dear Gaurav,

Pls note down the details

Holding co is Public Ltd. but sub is pvt. (since it is sub of public it will become a deemed public ltd.) Paid up capital HOling 2 crores sub - 10 lacs.

free reserves holding 2.5 crores sub Nil.
