Legal name of business in GST registration doubt

LEGAL NAME AS THE SHOP NAME IS SHREE AUTO LTD UNDER PROPERITER 

SO THE LEGAL NAME IS NAME OF BUSINESS OTHER THAN NAME OF PROPRITER 

Fill proprietor's name as in pan card of legal business

but it may be differ

you can check during gstr1 filling online option , try add with gstin no in gstr1 system automatically shows legal name/ business name

Fill the name as mentioned in the PAN card as 'Legal Name'. Shop name or business name will be the trade name.
Suppose, name on PAN card of the proprietor is ABC, and the business name is XYZ & CO. Then, while registration, in Part A of the form fill ABC in 'Legal Name' field and in Part B of the form fill XYZ & CO. in the 'Trade Name' field. This is to ensure if the name on PAN card is matching with the income tax department database.
