follow the Calculation Given as under

35 hrs per week * 156 week (3 years) = 5460 hrs in Total Articlship

per day 6 hrs so 5460/6= 910 working days...

So leave = 1095 total days ( 3 years) -- 910 days working days = 185 leave days ...

As per your views 6 month leave will be available for the purpose of exm

Its include total leave ...not for only exam....

does dis leave include the leave for the pcc xams?????????

Relevant Provisions are given below-

Regulation 59 : Leave to an Articled Assistant

1. An articled assistant shall earn leave at the rate of one-sixth of the period for which he

has actually served excluding from such period, the period for which he has been on

leave subject to a maximum of 180 days.

4. For the purposes of preparing for an examination of the Institute, the articled assistant

shall be granted by the principal leave for two months or to the extent due, whichever is

less, provided an application for the leave has been made at least fifteen days in

advance.

If  a student has taken leave of 162 days in total training period of 3yrs then whether it is in eligible limit or not

Maybe CAs are the best confusing professionals.
No its beyond your limit. IPCC Articles is3 years, So Simply 3years * 365 = 1095 days.
!/7th of this, i.e. 1095/7 = 156days Maximum you can avail as your leave. Thats it.

Now this calculation you can do by number of ways, if you do 1095 - 156 = 939days artilces served;
 939/6 also you get 156days as earlier. 
But anyhow 156 days is the maximum leaves in 3years.
