I would like to know what are the consequences, if an articled student takes leave for one month, without the permission of his/her principal???
can the principal take any action against the student who had taken leave??

He can terminate your articleship or he may ask you to Extend for excess leave taken..or he can write to institute to take disciplinary action against you..

My principal has agreed to give me leave for my exams till nov 25th. But in the immediately next month i have got my sisters marriage for which i require 10 days leave. My principal is reluctant and not willing to giver me the leave. so my question is having intimated to him, can i take leave without his approval??
Well..u cant take leave without is approval my friend..wht u can do is..u can convince him saying that u'll extend ur articleship period by wht ever excess leave u have taken...i think he shd agree for that..so relax..give it a try ;-) all the best
