Lean manufacturing?

Hi

Why is Lean manufacturing so important. It's like WCM! So Toyota achieved great results which i admire as well. So how did teachers made Toyota lean as the only lean? I'm a strategic performer from ACCA. 

Plus occidental MBA innovation comes from WHAT? 300 listed ones? You ppl are foolish to believe that. Innovation is creation of jobs and wealth with less consumption! It's not about laying off blue collared and IT. But IT deserves to be laid off!
