Last date for joining articleship

The last date for joining articleship to get ca final attempt in november 2014 is May 1, 2012 (subject to excess leave, if any) as a student who is in the last 6 months of their Articleship as on the first day of the month in which the examinations are held is eligible to appear in final (if they clear IPCC/PCC) .

However, it is advisable for you to join in Articleship as early as possible since only those students (who clear CA Final in November, 2014 and) who will complete their Articleship and GMCS by February 28, 2015 (March 31, 2015 in case of few centres) will be eligible to appear in ICAI Campus Placements in Feb-March, 2015, whereas, if you start your Articleship on May 1, 2012, you are going to complete it only on April 30, 2012 and  hence, not eligible to appear in ICAI Campus Placements in Feb-March, 2015.

if i join articleship in april 2012 and complete GMCS in march or april 2015 then can i apply for campus placement in august-sept 2015 campus placement

Yes, you will be eligible to participate in Aug-Sep. 2015 ICAI Campus Placements in that case.
