What is the last date of filing returns for A.Y. 2010-11 ? What are the penalties in case one is late by a few months in paying the Balance Tax . (Tax after adjusting for the TDS deducted) . I must clarify that though I maybe liable to pay Tax even after sdjusting for the TDS , I haven't paid any Advance Tax .

Date of filing ROI for AY 2010-11 u/s.139(1) is 31/07/10 in case your accounts are not audited u/s44AB. else 30/09/10.
Belated return can be filed upto 31/03/12.
Interest u/s. 234B & C will be attracted on tax dues; upto 31/07/10 or 30/09/10
