the due date for payment of service tax, in the case of companies, for a month is 5 th of succeeding month.
In the case of individuals and firms, who are liable to pay tax only quarterly, the due dates for a quarter is 5 th of succeeding quarter.
the due date for filing half yearly return for all is 25 th of april for the half year - Oct to march. for April to sept, due date is 25th of Oct.
for delay, interest at 13% p.a.+ penalty may be payable.
