ITS VERY EASY TO GIVE ADVICE TO OTHER "LIKE TO THOUGHT YOUSELF TO BE THIS OR THIS AND WE GET ALSO MOTIVATED BY THEM" BUT WHEN THAT ADVICE COMES TO THOSE PERSON WHO GIVES US THEN THEY RUN AWAY..
AND ITS VERY TRUE
There's an old saying "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink."
Maybe it is a bit like that, in a way. Closer to your question of "why," I also find that a lot of people don't really want to hear what I have to say unless I am going to say something that supports THEIR way of seeing life. And that's not always going to be the case.
Mostly, I try not to give advice unless someone asks for it, fairly directly. Perhaps I do it more often in a discussion forum like this, where the purpose is more about sharing opinions. On the whole though, I don't like to just see someone's situation, and then start up with "Well, you should do this, and that, and so forth."
THATS WHY IF YOU THOUGHT YOURSELF THAT YOU COULD GIVE ADVICE FIRSTLY THOUGHT THAT IF THE SITUATION HAPPENS TO YOU THEN WHETHER YOU WILL BE ABLE TO FOLLOW YOUR OWN ADVICE AND THEN GIVE THE ADVICE TO OTHER PERSON......
