ITR2 Java Utility AY20-21 not working

I am also having problem with itr-2 java utility on Mac.

Clicking on 'submit' button does not do anything (it is supposed to generate the X M L). I am hoping that there must be some workaround.

Did it generate the ITR2 form for filling data ? I am just getting a blank page with the icons at the top.

It generated the ITR2 form fine. 'Pre-fill", 'Preview', 'Save', 'Save draft' and 'Recalculate' worked fine. Only 'Submit' button did not work. Did not get any alert or logs.

Hi Amit, i am facing the same problem on my mac book. While submitting the filled form in Java utility, it doesn't do anything. It shows just the validation window. Does anyone know how to get around this problem? Thanks in advance.

Are you able to 'save' the X M L (not 'save draft'; just 'save')? If so, then 'save' the X M L return; and upload the X M L from efiling website. That's how I did it in the end.

Please make sure you have JRE version 8 update 51. Newer versions won't work.

Thanks Amit. I was able to save the X M L file with java version you mentioned. i was able to submit.

I was unable to Submit or Save on MacOS ITR-2, the Validation errors window used to be blank.

However I could save as draft and opened the draft ITR-2 in WIndows 10, where the validation errors window worked and resolving them allowed me to submit.

So if things are not working on MacOS, shift to Windows 10.

In JAVA utility of ITR2 , save and submit button is not working. Pls advice

I have downloaded Java on my Mac. I have downloaded the form for ITR 2. When I open ITR*.jar - just the top line appears. Nothing below that. What am I doing wrong? Please help.

Same issue continues as of today even after updating the Java Version as informed by the IT Department. It shows "Errors < 0-0 of 0 >"  when Submit Button is Pressed. 

Have done multiple calls to IT Department and every time they don't do anything but an immediate mail comes stating the the issue has been resolved. 

Have even sent the Draft file saved along with screenshot of the Java utility along with PAN but NO Resolution - For the second time they sent even the New Java Version link BUT NO SOLUTION to the problem. 

Seems like we will have to tweet to the Finance Minister and Chairman CBDT

ITR 2 online mode  is not working some error message coming which seems enter your bank name but we checked bank details already bank particulars are entered in the bank scedule.

Any body facing this type of problem
