Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether a minor can file an Income Tax Return (ITR) if their income is below the taxable limit of 3 lac. While generally not required, it's explored if a nil return can be filed to claim a refund for any Tax Deducted at Source (TDS). The consensus is that, as per current tax acts, a minor cannot file a nil return to claim TDS refunds, and any deducted TDS would typically be clubbed with the parent's income.

No... Because it is below limit...but if any TDS deducted it will be clubbing with father's Income....

can't the child file nil return if he has pan card and get refund of tds?

No not as per act.
