I have filed my dad's income tax return for the F.Y 2012-13 on 27th July 2013 and also received receipt from CPC. The return has still not been processed due to which refund amount is pending (as on 22.02.2014). What do I do now, its almost above six months filing the income tax refund. Anyone experiencing the similar problem?? Please can anyone help me on this.

I think You have not Sent the ITR V to the concerned department, As far a i know...If ITR V not submitted withinn 120 days from the date of filing return, we have to file the return again

Please carefully read his query.CPC confirmed the receipt means ITR-V sent on time.
Even my fathers return for the AY 2013-14 still not processed inspite of timely filing of ITR on 30.07.13 and ITR-V received by CPC in september 2013
They take time specifically in processing of ITR 4-5-6 with refund cases.
Even my father's ITR is not processed which was filed on 16.07.2013 as of now. So all we can do is wait till they do it on their on. We dont have any solution to this.
I also faced somewhat similar issue.I haven't received my receipt also.But then I wrote in a request after log in which is available in helpdesk.Submit any queries or problem,I even wrote request for receipt & for refund and I received refund last month.So I guess that helpdesk-submit request is helpful.

Wait Wait ....for processing return...Sometym itr processing take more than 12 months..so no worry
Wait for a while i also had a similar problem i filed 4s well before due date for 2012-13 but the return was processed just last week.
plz check tax credit like 26as

They will clear u the situationvof not processing itr
Agree with rupesh sme tyms it takes upto 12 mnths in processing ....
I too have similar issue, it has been 4 months since i filed my return , i filed return for my father and spouse along which have been received with refund but one return processing is still pending.
What are possible reason that some returns are not processed on time?
