ITR Intimation not yet received

I am just going my relatives experience here. In case two of my relatives, on this new portal, as soon as the status of their filed ITR1 moved to Processing (Filed-> Verified -> Processing)  they received ITR Intimation 143 1 in their email ids. In case of my aunt, the status has moved to processing on 13-sep but yet we have not received the ITR intimation 143 1. It's not even in Spam folder. Email id is correct. Is this is a glitch or should we wait for some more time. In case of my aunt only ITR1 was applicable.

I called it helpdesk but they could not provide anything. they just said they will inform someone to send it that's it! Nothing is also seen under View details screen. We don't know if all is ok or not! Any help will be great. Thx

The difference in processing time is based on the details in ITR and the details received from the reporting agencies like Employer, financial institutes, Mutual funds etc.

For salaried person, if ITR details match with form 16 and bank's reports, it gets processed immediately.

But for others it varies on different factors. So, check the status, if still under processing; wait and watch. You need not do anything. but just wait.

Similar case is with me. In one ITR ,I HAD to deposit tax and intimation order was issued but eportal still shows itr under process and helpline is not helpful.

2.in itr of my spouse there is refund .itr under process since 19.8..Refund portal shows itr not finalised by AO.WE DONT HV ANY INCOME EXCEPT INTERST FROM BANK.ALSO WAITING.NO REPLY COMES OON GRIEVANCES.IF THEY REPLY,REPLIES ARE REPITITION WHAT IS GIVEN ON EPORTAL. SHOULD I REFILE 2ND ITR,IS CONFUSING.

Unfortunately the underlying logic is not known so it's unclear if it's an issue with the system or the this is the way it is. Calling helpdesk does not help.

If you file revised return, the whole process will start all over again I guess.

As @ Dhirajlal Rambhia said, let's wait and watch. In my aunts case if the status moves to completed and still we don't get intimation, then I will surely consider it as an issue.

I just wish to inform  that today my aunts intimation 143-1 has been received, almost 15 days after it went to processing state. It's all clear. No refund/no demand.

So I believe system has its own internal processing which is beyond our scope. Thanks to @ Dhirajlal Rambhia  for correct advice.

I saw your reply but in our case,itr is in process since 19.8.2021 for ay 2021-2022. ATLEAST WE SHOULD GET FEEDBABK.REFUND PORTAL OF TIN NSDL SHOWS AO HAS NOT SUBMITTED.BUT SINCE IT IS ONLINE AO AS PER PAN IS NOT VALID.EVEN ITR OF AO AS TOLD BY HIM IS ALSO PENDING. OUR INCOME IS LESS THAN RS 5 LACS AND VERY SIMPLE.

In continuation to above,To cover the refund bank which didnot bear tick mark in box whereas other banks due to technical glitches other banks were marked.unmarked refund bank was evc enabled which is requirement of refund bank.in order to rectify this technical error,I hv filed revised itr showing the same bank which is evc enabled with tickmark in box.

It is eportal fault during July,21.

I want to know how the itr will be processed.if itr,revised itr are clubbed then this issue  will be resolved,otherwise intimation order shall be given based on itr mentioning of this error.It is my own assumption.

If the new tax portal is not able to

i) Process the ITR return in 1 working day from everification

ii) Issue Tax refund in 3 working days from processing

Then, the objectives of spending Rs 4242 crore are still not being met.
