Itr for nri

Hi Experts

I have one query regarding ITR R Filing for a NRI. A Salaried employee who earned his Salary in India from April to November. December onwards. he has been deputed outside India. His Income in India was Taxable and refund is expected. Please help me with Following Queries:

1. How Residencial Status will affect any Submitter: What should this man fill (RES, NRI or NOR)? Does this make any difference?

2. How can he send copy to Bangalore? if He sends Scan Copy to any friend in India and that person posts to Bangalore after print, Is it OK? as this is Just a Photocopy not Real copy.
