If u dont wish to maintain books and go for presumptive taxation go for ITR4(S)

otherwise ITR 4

as your income not exceeds the basic exemption limit i.e,190000,u are not liable to pay tax and file the return

if u want to file a return itr4 applicable

Dear Shenba,

I think ITR-4 should be filed in case of income from tution income, it represents  income from business &
profession.

you can cliam the expenses on stationery, books, board, furniture-depreciation etc. in respect of tuition income.

since I have not maintained any book of records and i had expenses on stationary, books, board, etc.  i made PPF contribution of Rs 30,000. Which ITR form i have to use ?

itr4 only

You are not required to file income tax return as you are below taxable limit. If you want, you can fill ITR 4

Thanks a lot to Yajendra and Rajesh Choudhary for the immediate response.

Please keep up this good work in helping the public.

I filled up ITR-4 yesterday, my company is deducting the TDS under section 194J and issued 16A so i mentioned that in TDS and income mentioned in salary and i dont have any other income the total amount  i earned is 1.3 lac and TDS2 is 13000/- only so i have to revised my ITR for showing business income or fine with the salary?

You hace to revise your income and show the Income as Income from Business/Profession. That is not salary income. Please, revise the income as soon as possible
