I have an accountant who file my income tax e-return yearly . If I want to download any previous year return detail or 26AS form from income tax link without knowing him about it ,then first I have to register to efilling by my PAN no. and date of birth OR any other online way .Is my way correct as I donot know that my account has User Id password or can I clink forgot password and something this way . I am confuse
Please help me?

Your username is usually your pan no. until changed, and use forgot password. But I hope that you know as to what are the security questions and their answers.
You can login through your PAN & password. As your accountant has already filed your return electronically therefore he has already your password.
You need to click on the forgot password & follow the required procedure.
But your accountant will get an email when you will change your password.
your user id is your PAN and if you don't know your password ,
you can change your password by selecting option forgot password
