ITC after amendment in 2A report

One invoice was wrongly entered in some other party GST no. for the month of march 2018. The same was later corrected by putting our correct GST no., in june 2019 GSTR 1.

Due to this, ITC for the same is appearing in the year 2019-20 instead of 2018-19 GSTR 2A report.

So can we claim this ITC in the year 2018-19 ?

Quick Summary
A business incorrectly entered a GST number on an invoice, causing the Input Tax Credit (ITC) to appear in the wrong financial year's GSTR 2A report. The query is whether the ITC can still be claimed for the original financial year (2018-19) despite the amendment made in June 2019. The consensus is that ITC relating to 2018-19 can indeed be claimed up to September 2019, provided the necessary proof of ITC availing is maintained.

Keep your proof of ITC availing is most important
