IT return query

I filed 3 returns of individual and proprietor ship but didnt mentioned self assessment tax payment details...

Do I need to file revised return?

I read on Google...it shows without payment of tax ITR cannot be filed....it is a defective return...

yes its defective return.. its create lots of problem to assesse.. why r u doing this type mistake in ITR.

It's not fall under defective Return if You are filed correctly the details of Incomes, Deduction and Calculations...

Dept will give Demand for the Outstanding Liability. You can pay it as per Demand...

Also better to Revise as per Mr. Ratan's View...

First of all i feel that return does not get validated until all required details are inputed & challan details are mandatory fields.

Correct me if i m wrong!
