Issues regarding import
I'm planning to import old news print and over issued new news print to India to trade it in Indian market to paper industries. How can I get MOEF certificate and isit mandatory to get this certificate. Also do I need to apply to state pollution control board?

An IEC is a 10-digit number allotted to a person that is mandatory for undertaking any export/import activities.
Refer to F.T.P. 2015-2020 Under Para 2.05 sub para
(II) No Export/Import without IEC:
(i) No export or import shall be made by any person without obtaining an IEC number unless specifically exempted.
(ii) Exempt categories and corresponding permanent IEC numbers are given in Para 2.07 of Handbook of Procedures.
Sir,
I already have IEC and a registered firm. My concern is about MOEF and SPCB to import ONP and OINNP within India.
