I got new client who not filed a single return since registration. He is service provider( Architect). But old consultant who applied for registration , selected composition wrongly.
I withdraw from composition by filing CMP-04 but effective date is allowing only upto 01.04.18. Now portal not allowing to go back to regular scheme for F.Y.17-18. Client issued invoices in 17-18 & charged GST 18%. Please provide expert advice. Thanx in advance.

Dear
The date of withdrawal from Composition scheme is 1.4.18 That means you were in composition scheme from July 2017 to March 2018 , hence can opt for regular taxpayer only from 1/4/2018.

File all your composition return & have to file Annual return also for FY 2017-18
@ Pankaj Rawat But sir that assessee collected GST @ 18% & almost all transactions are B2B. I am planning to file all GSTR-4 nil for 17-18 & to show all the sale in GSTR-1 & 3B of F.Y.18-19. Will it work , sir?
whether all the bills are b2c or b2b
@ mahesh mundra....90% B2B invoices
Yes good idea but you have to pay the interest for the liabilities
Ya. Thats inevitable.
