Isca - need some management tips needed - risk chance with chapters

Hi friends , my attempt in may'2017 but due to some planning problems unable to give adequate tiime for ISCA. by my calculation i can afford only 10-12 days( study and revision) for ISCA . Out of 8 chapter which 1 or 2 chapters i can take risk of omitting/giving less weightage. need some tips to manage this

Buy Manish Valechha ISCA textbook. All study tips are given in the book. You still have sufficient time to cover ISCA. Also refer practice manual.

10 to 12 days is enough for Study with revision.. You should go for study material of institute..

thanks vishal however if worst comes to worst which chapter can i drop ( ISCA not my strong sub . 40 milega to chalega ) instead of 100 if i can attempt 80 marks but in a good way will also do . dont want to be a hero and attempt 100 marks in a so-so manner.

You should start with chapter 2 ie., information system concept.. Because it's the easiest chapter among all.. Then chapter 4 ie., BCP DRP..

Then chapter 3 and 6 do simultaneously.. Ie., control and audit.. Then do chapter 7 and 8.. Finally do the last but not the least chapter.. The toughest chapter..

Manish valecha isca book is mnemonic based and easy to understand. it will take less than one week to complete the subject. Visit the bookstore and check this first. Different strategy is need for diff chapters. Dont waste your time asking this type of queries. Students use this book to complete their aggregate of group 2 (If they are getting 70 and 80 marks. you can also do the same). I secured 76 in ISCA.i studied from study material but in last 2 months i revised only Manish valecha (revised 3 times) (this book is sufficient)

I recommend u the the book of CA Sudeep Mangla "Secret to crack ISCA".

It is the best book for self study. It consist of full Coverage of the ICAI study material, Wide range of diagrams & Charts. Lengthy topics have been very well summarised and Simplified explanation to headings. This book will surely help u to prepare for ur exam.
