Is it ok to do ca at age 27 ???

Yea it is absolutely oka 2 do CA at 27.Luk when mother ICAI dose'nt discriminate between the members of institute on the basis of age,no. of attempts n ol.. then v shud olso nt discriminate.

Go 4 it.. n if u cn study by urslf without taking tutions then dont leave ur job till u clear ur group 1 of ipcc, n jus take a leave when u have 2 prepare 4 exams ( preferably 3 months ) 

if u wnna go 4 tutions then u ll have 2 leave ur job ryt away

n afta clearing your group 1 u ll have 2 leave the job coz u gotta undergo practical training as per the procedure.

Its jus 1 lyf..ROck it..thr z no age baar n stuff on nythng..u cn do wtva n wnva u feel like..! ol d best

Dear Tanay, you have raised three question here, first about about your age, second about the duration, and third about the job. in fist case the age is not an issue by the institute itself, it gives chance to all whatever age they have, in second case if you clear all the coming stages in first attempts then you will have to wait for near about 3 and half years including your, and in third case if you are a well settled person having no problem in terms of financial, you can very well go ahead and complete your dream.

Age is not a factor if you have the inclination to study.I know of a person who joined for CA at 35 after working for a number of years and after having two children.He completed CA in five years and is practicing at present.So go for it.Age is just a number.

The author of the Book SFM for CA Final  CA S D Bala started his CA at the age of 57 after retiring as a AGM International Financing of State Bank group in 2002 & completed his CA at his age of 60, This fact can be read in the preface of the Book of CA Final SFM , Compared to him you are too young to do CA, Just go ahead, no further advices required nor any thinking on this
