is it good to read hanif & mukherjee for accounts

yes it is one of the good book.. escp if ur doing selff study then it is really the best one

One of the best books on Accounting and particularly, in terms of giving the clarity on concepts of accounting. I would highly recommend this book for reading. Also, number of problems from easy to tough have been worked out. Authors have done a wonderful job. I keep referring to it whenever I want to refer to.

hey which is simplest book  in accounts for PCC level ..

i am appearing for ipcc in november 2010 & i have no preparation.

Simply Excellent book for understanding the Concepts of Accounting. A self study book, a student who does not know about acct, he / she can understand from this book.

Have much respect for this book. & also like verymuch Students Guide to Income tax, Dr. Vinod Singhania.

Above two books have no comparision....

who is the real father of balance sheet as it was written in this book on page number 3(Hanif fa mukherjee)( modern accountancy ) ? Could anyone please tell me?
