I am pursuing my articleship second year. When i joined articles i disclosed icai that i was pursuing both CS and B.Com. ICAI told me to cancelany one of the course or else my articles wont be registered. Now i am seeing many of my friends doing more than one course without disclosing it to ICAI. Shouldnt the employers note it down and enforce the rules?

I had the ability to do other courses simultaneously. But i lost the oppurtunity because of being truthful. If people can join any number of courses without disclosing, why is there a regulation for it?

I must say that we should repect the Profession of CA. If one discloses to ICAI like u did, then according to me you are far better then others who join other courses not allowed by ICAI regulations.

After all we are going to be a member of most prominent professional body. how can one conceal such things from that body ?

And afterwards when one become a CA, then he/she always regret of not disclsoing the truth to ICAI. bcoz then they fear of someone complaining to ICAI about this

Also, CA with no CS degree doesn't mean that he/she is always less competent to one who is CA & CS. It depends on you only.
