Is Going for Dummy articleship in the third year is Good??

Hi fellows,

Hope everyone is doing good 😊

My principal asked me to take leaves now due to Covid-19 and in the next year I have to serve for that period

I asked him I wanted to go for Industrial training

the response received from him
"Okay you take transfer before completing 2years(1.5 month's before)"

I asked him , sir if do like that then I can't go industrial training

then he said that's not his problem

I'm in a situation like what to do??

I have two options:

1)Join in an another CA-Firm
or
2)Take dummy for last year and join Paid assistant after giving exams(Clear CA-Final in first attempt)

My primary Goal is I shouldn't defer my attempt just because what has happened to me

If I have to go with option 1,
again there is a problem whether the principal gives me sufficient leaves (4 to 5months).

If there is lack of friendly relationship b/w Principal and CA-Student, one can't achieve anything though he is a multi-talented.

I am looking forward to reply's from my CA -fraternity

Cheers

The original poster is weighing two choices: joining another firm or taking dummy articleship to focus on clearing the CA Final exams in the first attempt. The responses suggest dummy articleship might be suitable given the circumstances, while also highlighting the importance of gaining practical experience.

Go for dummy . seemingly it is apt for your situation right now..

Then what have you done?

Dummy or industrial

Opting for Dummy articleship in your third year can provide flexibility and allow more time for self-study or side projects, like developing games such as Monkey Mart. However, weigh the benefits against gaining real-world experience through hands-on internships. Consider your long-term career goals before making a decision that impacts your future.
