As far as i can recall from my experience

When i connected the ipod to my pc ,there there was a sync option in itunes itself . . didn't use any specific software for that.

Try a different version of itunes (older) ,maybe that could work for you.

Amar........I installed itunes 8.1 ........but it does not show "SYNC. " option at all........

Rest everything is there........

Is it means that my ipod is damaged .............

• These are the minimum requirements for your shuffle....

Looks like you have XP Service pack 2 . . .maybe that's the problem.
