Ipcc exam form query

Yes, I also have same query yet not filled the form but on previous marksheet it is written "valid upto May 2014" but only on Nov 2012 marksheet. We should bring the same to the notice of Institute. Check here:- https://icaiexam.icai.org/guide_ipce.php  (find exemption through ctr F 5)

Extension of validity of exemption granted in a paper(s) (on the basis of securing a minimum of 60 per cent marks) by one more term in respect of students who opted to switch over to the Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) Course, under the Direct Entry Scheme on or before 30th September 2012.

In respect of students registered under the Professional Competence Course (PCC)/Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) who, pursuant to issuance of Notification No.1-CA(7)/145/2012 dated 1st August, 2012, being eligible for direct admission to the Chartered Accountancy Course, switched over to the Intermediate (IPC) Course by 30th September, 2012 and could not appear in IPCE in November 2012 on account of such switching over, the PCE/IPCE held in November, 2012 shall not be reckoned for determining the “immediately next three following examinations” for the purpose of extending the benefit of exemption obtained in one or more papers of a Group/Unit by securing a minimum of 60 per cent marks in any of the PCE/IPCE held in May, 2011, November, 2011, and May, 2012, to such candidates. 
For removal of any doubt, it is clarified that the above is applicable only to those students who
(1) were registered under PCC/IPCC prior to 1st August, 2012;
(2) have had obtained exemption by securing a minimum of 60 per cent marks in one or more papers of a group/unit in the PCE/IPCE held in May, 2011, November, 2011 and May, 2012; 
(3) have, being otherwise eligible, pursuant to the aforesaid Notification dated 1st August, 2012, switched over underIntermediate (IPC) Course by 30th September, 2012. 

But the point is why they have printed May 2014 only on Nov 12 marksheet and not on other marksheets. I will contact ICAI. Rest all having the same problem please call the ICAI student helpline:-

yes p1 refers to paper 1

p1 refers to accounts

p2 refers to law

p3 refers to cost fm

p4 refers to taxation

p5 refers to adv. accnts, p6 as audit and p7 as itsm

I couldn't reach to any of the numbers regarding the issue. So i posted my query to e-Sahaayataa at ICAI.They have asked me to send the scanned copy of the mark sheet to verify the validity of exemption. They must reply today. I think you should also contact them. They are far better than the confused so called "help line operators".

I think i am eligible, since it was specified on my mark sheet.. But the problem is that there is no column in the exam form to specify the exemption.

I received a clarification from them today, stating that the exemption has exhausted. The benefit of extension of exemption is not available to students converted from PCC to IPCC.

I ALSO EARNED EXEMPTION IN TAXATION PAPER, IN MAY 2012 ATTEMPT

IS IT VALID FOR MAY 2014 ATTEMPT?

NO friend exemption already exhausted in nov12 may13 and nov13 exam, it is irrelevant whether you skipped the exam or not

BUT , IT WAS PRINTED ON NOV 12 MARKSHEET,

i got exemption in paper 3 and 4 in nov2014 of ipcc.i applied for both groups in may2015 and attended the remaining subjects .iam confident that i wil definitely fail this time but with above 60 marks in paper 2 and 6 .please suggest me that can i claim paper 6 as exemption along with paper 3 and 4 far nov2015 attempt .also suggest me how to fill in the online exam application form in the  exemption coulmn if paper 6 is also exempted because iam confused (that only one attempt roll number should be filled to claim exemption(s).)
