Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether monthly SIP investments, like the Rs 2000 ICICI Value Discovery Fund example, need to be declared in your Income Tax Return (ITR). Generally, normal mutual fund SIPs don't require disclosure unless you're filing an ITR-2 and need to declare your assets or capital account. Tax-saving ELSS investments, however, can be shown under Section 80C.

No need to disclose the investment in ITR, unless you have to declare Balance sheet with capital account.

If it is tax saving instrument then you may show under section 80C ELSS

No it's normal Mutual fund SIP

You may show in assets if ITR-2 is applicable
