Intimatiom to Auditors-Urgent

Hi,

The Board failed to appoint the first auditors of the company for its first financial year ending march, 2010.

The auditors were then appointed by the members in the general meeting dated in terms of section 224(5).

Can the Board intimate the auditors on 5th july because of their failure to do so earlier?

Section 224 (1A) talks about 7 days but 225 nowhere mentions about the duration...
