Interstate purchase
whether is it compulsory to apply for gst registeration if one have only interstate purchase even if limit does not exceed 20 lakh. For instance if a person resident of haryana buys goods from punjab and sells in haryana whether it is compulsory to apply for gst registration if limit does not exceed . .

Registered dealer of Punjab can sell interstate......... i.e to an URD of Haryana .......
URD of Haryana do not have to report to GST as he is not registered anywhere, but supplied intrastate.......
Registration is mandatory for inter-state outward sales..
Further, No registration required for inter-state inward purchase if the amout of turnover is les than 20 lcs..
