Internal Auditor

Hi,

Appointment of Internal auditor is the prerogative of the company's management. Any specific qualification is not required for being appointed as internal auditor.

Any Individual/Firm having appropriate qualification for the post may be appointed by Board. But mostly reputed CA Firms are appointed as internal auditor. It is advisable to appoint CA or CA Firms as internal auditor.

Can we appoint an employees with just graduate as internal Auditor? As the Company is unlisted Public Company.

Yes you can appoint an employees with just graduate as internal Auditor. Well i am not sure about the benefit of such appointment.

I know there is no such benefit for the same appointment but the Coampny just dont want to pay extra for the appointment of the same.So appointing the employee to just do the Compliance.
