As per latest rules IPCC Registration is valid for 4 years so one can appear 8 attempts in a trot. After 4 years registration lapses and again you have to re-register to continue Ca course by paying a nominal fee of Rs.400 and again it is valid for another 4 years.

Paperwise Exemption: Once you get 60 or above marks  in any paper you are exepted from that particualr paper for the ensuing 3 attempts and if you are unable to clear that grp your exemption will be cancelled

That's possible.

By whichever scheme you came from ther's an option of EXEMPTION.
I think in the first page of the Application form(online), after the Name, residential address and contact no. particular page.
These exemption details and any group passing details are manadtorily asked. you canfill that one.

PS: I KNOW I HAE REPLIED TO YOUR QUERRY VERY LATE, AS NOW FORM ARE CLOSED ONLINE TOO.
