Interest Payable under SGST head only

We had deposited SGST for the month of March on 22nd May, I am paying interest of Rs 28000/- in SGST interest column but portal automatically calculating interest in CGST column also. Please help

My opinion is that interest is applicable for the both acts cgst and sgst

Interest Is applicable to SGST and CGST

but my liability is under the SGST head only so why should I need to pay interest on CGST

Yesterday i had paid sgst interest... No such issue has been arisen... Go in create challan section and then create and pay amount... Interest is payable only for respective liability

I had already deposited interest in SGST head, but issue is when I put interest figure in interest & late fee column it automatically get reflect in CGST head also
