Industrial training problem

I am facing a unique problem.I got a call from HDFC Bank to work as an industrial trainee with them.But the problem is they can hire me as a trainee nly for 3 months,whereas the institute requires minimum 9 months period for industrial training.I asked the bank if they can show on paper a period of 9 months instead of 3..but they are like they cant do that since it is not ethical from their side..now i am in a fix since i dont want to loose this opportunity of working with HDFC..any suggestions as to what can i do?its urgent..

You cannot do so against the ICAI rules. As they have clearly mentioned it as 3 months, you cannot claim it as Industrial Training as it requires minimum 9 months. Wait for another opportunity from other comapny.

There are some vacancies are posted on several Job Portal even one is in Bank on CCI....you may apply for that on another Industry.........

Hey all,

I just passed my CA inter (pcc) in the first attempt this May('11) with the 26th rank n its been a while since i started this hunt for industrial training. Its been quite tormenting so far cuz its so hard to get to speak to any of those HRs in the big four. Do any of you'll know if there's any opening for industrial training in bangalore..?? It'd be of super great help if you'll do..Also as per the institute spoecifications, i'll be eligible for industrial training this december.
