Industrial Training

Well, then they will give you Industrial training which they normally give to MBA guys.... in CA, stipend is compulsory..... Stay away from it.... Or better still, ask for the name of the CA under whom they are planning to get you registered and call ICAI to check if he is eligible to impart Industrial training......

i also have the same problem.i have an oppurtunity to do IT in hindustan latex.the CA overthere is not known with the procedures.he is telling that he can give me training but without stipend.i'm ready to accept his offer but this company is not approved by the institute.when i informed them about this condition they are confused.they are asking that for getting approval who should apply to the institute? whether the CA or the HR manager?my future is depending upon this IT.pkease clarify.the form for approval is known.but the issue is with regard to who should apply for the same

Well, first of all 1) the ca should be active member of ICAI. 2) the company should fulfill the requirements as set out by ICAI. I think maybe the annual report of the company containing audited financial statements are to be attached. N the HR guy and ca should jointly apply to ICAI. HR acts as representative of the company...
