Industrial Training is done in the last year of Articleship and it can be either for a period ranging from 9 months to 12 months .It gives you a hands on industry experience and if you get into an MNC you would have an edge over the others.
For vacancies you can contact your Regionanal ICAI Branch which would provide you with the list of available vacancies registered with them.Also recently, there were Vacancies for Industrial Trainees at World Bank, though the Deadline for the same was July 20 . The job profile was that of a Reasearch Intern but could still try mailing them your CV or delivering it by hand to The Head( Human Resources),SARFM-RI -2010,The World Bank, 70,Lodi Estate,New Delhi 110003.
Alternatively, you can find attached the list of Companies registered with the ICAI for hiring Industrial Trainees though a vacancy there cannot be guranteed.
