Yes, Study leave will be as per ICAI's norms,ie same as study leave during articleship period.As per Regulation 59 & 74 of Institute of Chartered Accountants Act,1949, study leave wii be 1/6th of eligible working days.

Eligible Working days= Total Term of Atricleship (31/2 yrs or 3 yrs) - ( Leave availed for exams+ Casual Leave )

and what abt if some1 has opted extra leave during his articleship period? does he have to work for his excess leave in industry?

As per ICAI norms maximum period for industrial training is 1 year.If he has taken more leave in his articleship period he need to do extention of articleship afrter completion of industrial training.In any case industrial training cannot exeed 1 year.This extented period, he has to do with any practicing CA.

means after the industry training if my leave is in excess of my available leave than i have to again work for my principal?
