Quick Summary
A taxpayer sold a long-term capital asset in FY 19-20, but lacks records for improvements made nine years prior. They are seeking advice on whether this will cause issues with claiming indexation cost for their Long Term Capital Gains (LTCG) tax calculation. The user is looking for any relevant acts or legal judgments that could support their case and is considering obtaining a property valuation as a potential solution.

One of the possible solution is to get the property valuation done
