I am making accounts of a proprietorship concern and they want to show investment in capital in cash. Can I show that the proprietor has introduced funds in cash from his personal account?

Yes. You can show, but make sure corresponding entries of cash brought in business are made in the personal books of the Proprietor.

Introduction of capital can be done in cash by proprietor/partner.
