Note that PARTY Not Filed any Return in Previous Year,

HE IS A SALARY HOLDER .his taxable income is below threshold limit

Please said us  can we will  filed BACK DATED  Income Tax return for 03 Years (i.e. A.Y 20-21,A.Y.21-22,A.Y.22-23 ) 

IF YES THEN PROCIDURE

ITR U is possible. Not sure if it is possible for all years. But he will have to pay some tax only then ITR U will get filed.

ITR-U can be filed for only two year i.e A.Y. 21-22 & A.Y. 22-23.

ITR filing for Ay 20-21 can be filed within 24 months from the end of AY ie March 23 I believe. so fy 19-20 should be able to file within March 23 with penalty under 234f

That rule is ammended , now you can't do so.

you can file only ITR-U

ITR U  Penalty Amount Rs. 1000.00 ONLINE Payable through NSDL  in which Type of Payment Head i.e. Self Assessment Tax(300) or Other Receipt (500) Head??????????????????

Department clarified in Twitter that for paying tax under sec 140b use self assessment tax minor head. hoping for penalty also same applies. u cn chk Google for the tweet by searching 140 b tax payment head

You can't file ITR-U for 19-20. Pay tax u/s 140B

This means ITR U Can't File A.Y. 19-20  or  F.Y. 19-20

It can be filed for fy 19-20 ie ay 20-21 with March 2023 as Income tax updated return ITR U. u cn chk up in your login if it is enabled for fy 19-20.
