Income Tax return

Hello Everyone!

My client who is working in Jet Airways and since jet airways went into Corporate Insolvency Resolution process.I have question related to it.

The Company has paid salary up to Nov 2018 in A.Y.2019-20 and Salary of Dec 2019 in April 20. TDS & Salary up to Nov 2018 is reflecting in Form 26 AS. Company has provided Salary Slip up to March 2019. We are not sure whether they will get salary from Jan-March 2019 and whether TDS will be deposited for the same period. I have filed return by adding Salary and TDS of Dec 2018 in 26AS.

My question Do I need to revise the return by considering salary & Tds upto March 2019? Can I claim TDS of Dec 2019 in A.Y.2019-20 and get refund of the same

Thanks

Regards

1. You may require to revise subject to following information.
2. You can claim TDS as per 26 AS only.

That means if Dec TDS is not appearing in 26AS then you can not claim.
What about Form 16 ? How much salary and TDS are shown in Form 26 ?
TDS if not claimed then you can claim in next AY also.

Form 16 has not given by the company. In 26AS Salary & TDS upto Nov 2018 is considered.
