You are registered under a CA not the firm, if the CA resigns and joins another firm/ starts own, you have to go with him. If his shifting is more than 50kms from the present location, it is a ground for termination, if you so desire.

Unless until you decide to change the Principal, i.e. the CA, you don't have to do any paper-work.

i dont think that you can switch over unless you woill qualify the basic condition of change in residential address with a min. distance of 50 km But i think you can continue under another partner...........
